The first time we went, it was just so/so. There was only one waitress but it was slow going, it took forever to get my salad and the two other people I was with got burgers. We assumed they forgot about us. The waitress was the only positive. I did like the gator bites, just not the price. The second time we went, we went because we were passing near by, and I wanted just gator bites. ... First off the two people working the bar didn't greet, speak, acknowledge us in any way. We caught a glimpse of the same waitress as last time, but only for a moment. we stood there near the bar waiting to be sat for 6 minutes. Finally I sent my husband up to the other end of the bar to order from the women chatting there. I left to go get a chicken and some sides from the Bi-lo and when I came back my husband was waiting. I stepped back into Bucca's to speak with someone but the bartender never turned around she was on her phone with her back to me the entire time. I finally just laughed really loudly, said the lack of service was disgusting, and the bartender just gave me a dirty look. It was lunch time, but only three tables were filled. I wont return to this place, and have on at least 4 occasions, told people who asked if I went there, not to bother.

Good bar with good happy hour prices and decent food. Located in the shopping center next to Bi-Lo right outside of Tanner Plantation. Last time I was there I got some hot wings and they were pretty good. The dry rubs are the best IMO. Protip: They have Golden Tee.

The food was decent and service was ok. Liked the salad size and options. Only negative is if you are gluten free you are limited with what is available.

Have been to Bucca's a few times in the past, not the best service but the food has always been good. Called to place an order for wings to pick up on the way home from work. "Person" that answered the phone definitely forgot to take her customer service pill in the morning as she was so short answered it was borderline rude. I have never had wings from Bucca's before so I continued my almost one sided conversation with asking her if they had any sauces that were sweet and minimally spicy combined. "I don't know, I don't eat wings" was the answer I received. Needless to say I did not order from there and went elsewhere... Wow !!!

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and so glad we did. Prompt service, nice waitress. We ordered the fried pickles, which were about the same as they could have been anywhere. Good, but uneventful in flavor. The wings were the real show stopper of it all, though. Huge, hearty wings, twice the size of the ones at a Wild Wing Cafe or BWWs. The sauces we tried were great too. Buffalo Parm and Garlic Thai (?) fabulous. Would recommend stopping by!

Buccas just got bought out and is under new management but I have been told that nothing will change. Still the same staff and same routine. So we shall see. The new owner seems to be a nice guy and might bring some Italian flair to the menu we shall see.

descent lunch - prices are on the mark and service is good. cant go wrong here for lunch.

The food is Ok, it seems like a great place to watch a game. Plasma's are all around the resturant. The only gripe is the Corner Booth's are horrible to sit in. It is a round table with a sqaure seats around the booth.

Went Friday for lunch and had a awful experience. Manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. We ended up leaving before we ordered anything. Manager took forever to greet us bc she was to busy on her phone then proceeded to be nasty..

Service was extremely slow.We waited an hour for our order and the place was not busy at all.Other patrons who came in after us were served much sooner. There were 9 of us and it was 20 minutes between the first and last person in our group being served. We asked to see the owner and he was unconcerned. When we received our bill for the full amount we asked for an adjustment we got only 10 per cent. We will not be back. Zero stars.

The food isn't amazing or anything, about as good as I can cook. But it's inexpensive and fun when they have Bingo night or Trivia night. The bar is nice and big, too. Two personal downsides: the fries I got with my burger, and the lack of mayonnaise on my burger. I'm sure I could have asked for some but I was feeling lazy that night. The fries were WAY too salty for me and I couldn't eat them. :(

Bucca's was an interesting place to say the least. I went there on a Sunday and watched multiple football games. The food was so-so and I cannot attest to their alcohol because I rarely drink. Their customer service was alright as well. I was a little surprised by the restaurant and not in a good way. My wife and I ordered Burgers with a crab cake appetizer. The appetizer was very small for the price but I will admit it was delicious. Their burgers were decent but I had better in the Charleston area. I ordered the biggest burger on the menu and was not disappointed. The burger was stuffed between two grilled cheese sandwiches and contained a lot of grease. Yet, it was not bad just not that great. It was not memorable and did not have the juicy qualities that I look for in a burger. The meal came with fries and those were so-so too. Bucca's just didn't seem to lack consistency. Their appetizer was awesome but their burgers lack the simple enjoyable qualities.

Food is very ordinary .... on a good night. Trivia is the only reason to go.

Food was bland and low quality chicken was used. The waitress was friendly though.

We go here often as it's a local place and there are very few places that are super-local if you're looking to have drinks and don't want to go far. The food is actually really good here, definitely above normal bar food. However, I've never really had great service here. In spite of going once or twice a week with my boyfriend and always tipping extremely well, we often have to wait longer than an ideal amount of time for service. The male bartender tends to flat out ignore you for his one or two buddies if they pop in, even if you have to ask for something several times b/c he's clearly socializing, not serving someone else. He wanders away from the bar often and there will be no server at all behind the bar---that's annoying as crap. He's married to the female bartender. She's a cute girl but completely disinterested and over being there, and you can just tell. Don't go if you're feeling lonely and looking to chat up the bartender...not gonna happen. Her husband the male bartender often shows up to check on her on her shifts and we've seen him nearly get in a spat before over someone else talking to her, it's just an odd situation. Food is good but need better service and personality behind the bar, especially for the amount of times and amount of money we go. After being outright ignored while he chatted up a friend right in front of us, delaying our drink order by over 5 minutes in an otherwise empty bar, my boyfriend has decided we're boycotting the place for a while. Bar games are fun but the trivia DJ is such an idiot that she mispronounces things badly enough that you may miss the question, and the Bingo guy is the kind of guy screaming into a mic that won't shut up b/c it makes him feel famous. Spare your eardrums and avoid that night.

The food had no flavor, absolutely bland. The service is atrocious, a table next to us went uncleaned for over an hour while my party was there. My finished dish sat for well over 45 minutes in front of me. The waitress was rude and unaccommodating. I would recommend McDonald's over this place. Stay far away.

Great food, try the Cajun pasta! Best I've ever had! Also a great place to hang out for a few drinks with friends after dinner hours

Had dinner and drinks last Saturday.Great atmosphere lot and lots of tv's.Great staff and the food was fantastic!I had the French dip that was way to big for one.The roll was definately made someplace up North.Cant find that quality here.My husband's burger was great and the onion rings really good.Cant wait to go back. Also we spent sometime with the owner.Couldnt ask for better hospitality.

The boneless chicken wings were an odd chewy texture, and they were kind of like boneless chicken squares... yeah. We got boneless because I was sharing with the hubs and that is what he wanted, he doesn't like bones. Other than that, the service was fine (and we had a big group, so I think it's noteworthy). I know some in the group ran across the street to the grocery store because they had ordered potato skins and the restaurant had run out of sour cream. Oops. The drinks were fine as well. I went with the happy hour rum and diet coke. There are a lot of TV's. It's kind of like a mild version of Buffalo Wild Wings as far as the environment, but the wings aren't nearly as good. On a side note, this place is in Goose Creek, so maybe it's the best they have in Goose Creek. I probably won't be back, largely because it's in Goose Creek (and I only went out there because it was someone's party and they chose the place). Apparently West Ashley and downtown have spoiled me to how good things can be!

Really terrible brunch. Totally raw eggs...I mean when I tell people this story they ask "how did you order them?". Well I wasn't asked how I wanted them at all but I assumed they would be fried. I could see they were 90% clear 10% white before they even put the plate in front of me. I can understand some clear on top if I had ordered sunny side up but these were soooo raw. I sent them back & they were better but still a bit raw. The potatoes were crunchy & the grits were blah. I don't plan on going back.

We have been here before, and never disappointed.... Until today. The waitress was more focused on her station behind the bar than our table... Thinking she should have been working the bar only. Our Philly cheese and steak came toasted.... Maybe I'm just used to a philly on warm soft bread??? I did not appreciate it on a toasted sub. Just a bad day at Bucca's maybe???

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. Service was friendly and prompt. The burger with a salad was a great deal and very tasty. Will return.

Went to Bucca's for lunch with a crowd of 8. Restaurant only had around 15 people eating that included our party. Waitress made a comment while she was taking our order "sorry I wasn't listening". It was evident that was true. Two of the orders didn't come until the other six people were finished eating. One ended up as a takeout, the other was returned because it was burnt. Poor service. Strike that one off out list of places to eat.

Had a horrible ending to trip to Buccas today. I'm a Hanahan boy that loves to make an appearance every now and then to see old friends and it's been a while since I've visited Buccas. I knew the bartender Rachel and although she was busy, she gave us great service and I never had an empty drink. When the shift manager came in to take over, she was completely rude to Rachel the bartender in front of us and continued her horrible attitude for the entire time we were there. Having been in retail management for 16 years, I wanted to pull the manager to the side myself and let her know how uncomfortable it made me feel to sit there after that and how unprofessional it was for her to do that on the sales floor. I can honestly say that no matter how much I'd like to see old friends, I probably will not ever be back there. It's a shame because it's a great location and the business has such potential with just a little better front of house management. Compliments to the chef for great nachos and to Rachel the bartender for great service.

Pretty awesome place to grab a beer. Great prices, cool staff, and some awesome outdoor seating. It's a decent size place to, so plenty of bar room and tables without being cramped. Seems like they also have lots of events in the evenings, might just have to check one out one night. Good, friendly crowd here so should be fun. I'll be back.

Bucca's is a cool place. Good food at reasonable prices, a number of good beers on tap and usually very good service. It's a wide open high ceiling place so sometimes the acoustics stink - not much you can do about that. Lots of TVs well positioned so always able to watch a sporting event. I may be a regualr now.

Thursdays bingo night is fun with friends and good food. Try their homemade lasagna. They have the only good fried pickles in the area.
(4)Kimberly M.
never again. ever. the gator bites, or gator crumbs as we called them looked like they were the re-fried leftovers of the crumbs in the bottom of an order that wasn't finished. then they threw them on flimsy, brown lettuce and actually expected us to eat them. we sent them back. we waited for 30 minutes for 10 wings and a chicken sandwich. the wings were good because they were crispy, which is they way we like them but my mayonnaise, I mean, chicken sandwich was soggy and only tasted like the mayo. it's way overpriced for the quality. I'd eat at McDonalds before I ever go back there.

This place confuses me! After our last decent meal we tried it again and it was worse than cafeteria food......horrible actually. I don't get it. There was also a different bartender who took forever and was not friendly in the least. Oh well, lesson learned.
